Description

My Private Pool is a peer-to-peer marketplace connecting pool owners with people looking to rent a private pool for the day. Byrsa Tech took over the existing platform to fix critical bugs, secure the payment flow, cut hosting and Google Maps costs, and is now leading a full rebuild of the web application.

The Challenge

The platform's payment flow was unstable, directly cutting into the marketplace's commission revenue on every failed transaction. On top of that, the previous hosting provider was overcharging significantly: up to €200/year for the domain and €60/month for hosting. Google Maps API usage also spiked above €600/month during peak summer season.

Our Solution

We stabilized the payment flow to protect commission revenue, migrated the infrastructure to a more cost-effective provider (cutting hosting costs by about 70%), and re-engineered the Google Maps integration to cut peak-season costs by over 90%. We're now leading a full rebuild of the web application: not just a visual refresh, but a rework of the entire platform.
