Description

Defmarket is a solidarity app for French public service agents (police, firefighters, military and civil servants) and their families. It was built for Helios Stratégie, within the Hyperion Défense ecosystem.

The app gives them nationwide access to ticketing, cashback and discounts at local businesses. It now has more than 8,000 active users, and a back office is used to run the platform day to day.

Our team built the customer mobile app (iOS and Android) and the back office from scratch in 2019, before Byrsa Tech was even incorporated in 2024. Two dedicated developers have kept the platform running in production ever since, as an outsourced service center, and a full web app version is now in development.

The Challenge

Helios Stratégie needed a reliable, nationwide benefits platform for the Hyperion Défense ecosystem: a customer-facing mobile app paired with an internal back office that public sector agents and their families could trust for ticketing and discounts, and that could stay stable and evolve over years of continuous, growing usage.

Our Solution

Our team built the Defmarket mobile app and back office from the ground up, then has run the platform as an outsourced service center: two dedicated developers have handled production, maintenance and continuous improvements since 2019. We're now leading development of a full web app version to extend the platform beyond mobile.
